Physician Performance Measurement
ICLOPS uses standards and measures from reputable physician organizations and specialty societies for its ICLOPS FOCUS and ZOOM products. For example, we use measures from the AMA Physician Consortium for Performance Improvement (PCPI) into most of our solutions. Click here for more information on the AMA's PCPI work.
ICLOPS also incorporates standards of other measure developers, including NCQA HEDIS measures, Bridges to Excellence, and specialty society guidelines.
Where measures in critical areas are not yet standardized, ICLOPS works with client organizations to develop customized measures that are specialty- or location-specific. In addition, ICLOPS has developed its own analyses and measures for identifying new performance areas that have not yet reached the public setting. These include:
- Patient Visit Index, for calculation of appropriate patient visit frequence for various chronic conditions.
- Medical Home Management tracking, for identifying efficiencies and tracking of patient populations.
- Accountable Care Organization Measures, for calculating overall activity in quality management by ACOs.
- Meaningful Use Measures, to track usage in underlying systems from which ICLOPS collects data.
